your design data. With the Digital Signature Extension, you have the
peace of mind that your electronic signature does what the ink signature
does: validates the authenticity of your documents.
The Digital Signature Extension is available through the Autodesk
Subscription Program. It provides a secure environment where digitally
signed drawings can be verified for
- Origin (confirming identity of the persons who
sign drawings)
- State (the drawings have not been changed)
- Nonrepudiation (signers cannot claim they never
signed drawings)
The Digital Signature Extension includes the Digital Signature Verifier,
a small piece of software that lets your recipients who don¡¦t have the
extension verify a digital signature. It also warns them that any unauthorized
file changes will invalidate the digital signature. The Digital Signature
Verifier is so compact, you can send it to project members as an e-mail
attachment.
